Small Group Opportunity - Rock Climbing

Do you like to have fun?  Do you like to watch action movies?  Do you like to live on the edge? Well then Rock Climbing is for you!  We will be offering two separate occasions to go Rock climbing at the Adventure and Recreation Center (ARC), July 24th 3 - 5pm (Sunday), and July 25th 2-4pm (Monday).

"Oh no!  But climbing rocks sounds so dangerous," I hear you say.  No worries!  you will be attached to a few pulleys and will have someone belay you.  Belay is the technical term for the action of pulling to rope to ensure it is nice and tight so you are safe.  At the facility, there are several different walls for you to climb ranging from a difficulty of 1 (the easiest) to 10.  If you have never tried rock climbing before, this is your opportunity to give it a go!  I ensure that you will love it and want to go rock climbing all the time afterwards, I know I do.

When there, you will be instructed on how to wear the harnesses and how to tie the ropes.  Not only will you learn how to climb walls, but you will also learn some great techniques if you ever go sailing.  They will provide the harness and the shoes, just make sure that you bring socks to wear.

Hope to see you there!
